Effective supplement for IBS relief
Retrospective analysis of the effects of a highly standardized mixture of Berberis aristata, Silybum marianum, and monacolins K and KA in diabetic patients with dyslipidemia.
High relevance for dietary treatments
We explored the effects of a supplement called Berberol®K, which contains silybum marianum, on patients dealing with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) alongside diabetes and dyslipidemia.

In a retrospective study with 59 subjects, those who were treated showed notable improvements after six months, including reduced diarrhea symptoms.

The results suggest that this food supplement could be beneficial, especially for those who cannot tolerate standard treatments like statins.

Immediate relief
I suffer from severe Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS), which causes very painful muscle knots known as trigger points. After taking three capsules of Milk Thistle three times a day, I noticed an immediate improvement, particularly regarding vertigo and toxicity. This allowed my clinician to increase my trigger point injections significantly, from about four or five to tolerating 180 per session, twice a week. Eventually, I reduced to the recommended dosage of just three capsules a day when the toxic load decreased.

Did not suit me
Unfortunately, Milk Thistle did not suit me, and I felt unwell after taking it. However, I have Gilbert's syndrome, which entails limitations for dietary supplements, with Milk Thistle being one of them.

Positive effects
Milk Thistle is an excellent agent for promoting bile flow. It has helped me with various gastrointestinal issues, including irritable bowel syndrome. A nutritionist I trust recommended Ratoropsha from this company, and using it alongside other treatments, I see a clear positive effect. I highly recommend it.
